About Victoria Lane
Victoria cultivated a love of art and handcrafting from a young age. She spent her childhood and adolescence learning traditional fine art skills, pouring over Martha Stewart Living magazines and tackling a wide array of crafting projects. These early hobbies instilled in Victoria a diverse artistic skillset and wide working knowledge of craft and the art of living with aesthetic intention that has become a lasting passion.
After earning a Bachelors Degree from Pratt Institute School of Design and working for a decade in the corporate apparel industry in New York City and Boston, Victoria finally found the opportunity to use her cultivated talents in a new and refreshing way after purchasing her first home: a 1920s bungalow in Boston, Massachusetts. Here she used her DIY skills to rehab and furnish the fixer upper and realized her passion for interior design, vintage rehab and textile arts. Soon came a career pivot to match, and Victoria now splits her professional life working in residential interior design for an established firm in the Boston area as well as creating independently as a handcraft artist, where she continuously experiments with new projects and artistic forms and media—all with a unifying aesthetic and focus on beautiful living.
